Our Approach to Verification and AML

Casabet Casino operates under a licence from the Curaçao Gaming Authority and applies an anti-money laundering policy that was last updated on 16 February 2024. The policy is built around an AML compliance officer with management oversight, risk-based monitoring and manual review of flagged activity. Verification checks protect both our players and the integrity of the platform, and completing them promptly helps keep deposits and withdrawals moving without delay. We may update these procedures from time to time, so please read the current terms on our website.

Identity Verification

Before your first withdrawal we ask you to verify your identity. This includes a valid ID, proof of address and confirmation that the payment methods used on the account belong to you. In some cases we may also request a phone or face check. Documents can be sent to [email protected], and once a complete set has been received the review usually takes up to 24 hours. Enhanced checks can extend this timing, and verification may delay withdrawals while it is in progress.

Information and Documents We Request

The documents we request depend on the stage of verification and the risk profile of the account. At the initial stage, personal details are required before a withdrawal can be processed. As activity on the account grows, we ask for additional documentation in line with our staged verification procedure. For AML identification we may require an ID photo together with a handwritten six-digit number and an additional face image, with all four corners of the document visible, plus a recent address bill or document no older than three months.

  • Personal details, required before any withdrawal
  • Valid ID for identity confirmation
  • Proof of address, such as a recent bill or official document
  • Card or bank statements and proof of payment ownership for the first withdrawal
  • An ID photo with a handwritten six-digit number and an additional face image for AML identification, all four corners visible
  • Phone or face checks where requested

Source of Funds and Source of Wealth

At higher verification stages we may ask you to explain the origin of the funds used on your account and to support that explanation with evidence. Acceptable examples of source of wealth include employment income, business ownership, inheritance, investments and family support. We may also request confirmation of the legitimacy of the funds and of the bank account or card used. Where cumulative deposits reach defined review levels, the account may be frozen pending review until the requested information has been assessed.

Enhanced Checks

Our verification is staged. Beyond the basic identity check, additional identification is required once deposit or withdrawal activity passes defined thresholds, and a full source-of-wealth review applies at the highest stage. Medium-risk profiles trigger earlier checks at lower thresholds. These enhanced reviews are carried out manually and can extend the standard verification timing. We do not complete reviews until all requested documents have been received and assessed.

Account Rules and Restrictions

You must be at least 18 years old, and any higher age that applies to you under local law also applies. Registration must be complete, accurate and in your own name, and only payment instruments held in your own name may be used. One account per person is permitted, and one account per household, IP address or device unless shared use is disclosed to us in advance. Account transfers, third-party betting and third-party deposits are prohibited, as is using a VPN or proxy to mask or manipulate your real location. Two-factor authentication is available to help secure your account. An account cannot be closed while a balance or withdrawal remains outstanding. We may close accounts after 90 days without a login or where verification is incomplete or refused, and remaining funds may be written off in those situations. Unused bonuses may be removed after one month.

Payments and Ownership

Deposited funds are repaid through the same payment method used to deposit them. Every payment instrument on the account must be held in your own name, and we may request card or bank statements and proof of payment ownership before processing a first withdrawal. Changes to payment behaviour are monitored as part of our ongoing review of account activity.

Ongoing Monitoring

We apply risk-based monitoring across all accounts, with manual review of activity that falls outside normal patterns. Unusual behaviour, rapid cycles of deposits and withdrawals, and changes to payment methods are among the activity types we monitor. Identification and transaction records are kept for at least 10 years after the end of the relationship or the completion of a transaction.
